THE JOURNEY TO SWITCH FITNESS
What keeps me passionate about teaching after four years is the amazing people and community I get to be a part of. The relationships I’ve built with my members mean the world to me. It’s an incredibly rewarding job. Knowing that I can help make a positive impact on someone's life—whether it’s through fitness or just being a source of motivation and support—is what keeps me inspired and excited to teach.
EXPERTISE & CERTIFICATIONS
I’m certified in:
- Group fitness
- Yoga sculpt (most recent certification)
My favorite class to teach is Inferno Hot Pilates. I never get tired of it—teaching and taking the class is the best experience. That post-class feeling of exhaustion mixed with accomplishment is like nothing else. The next certification I’m pursuing is the Functional Strength Coach Certification.
TEACHING STYLE & CLASSES
I take a functional approach to training by integrating strength exercises, mobility work, and endurance into every class. I’m passionate about balance and unilateral exercises to ensure both sides of the body are equally strong. You can expect creative and challenging classes that often mix multiple movements, such as lunges with overhead presses or curtsy lunges with bicep curls, for a total-body workout. My favorite part of teaching? Incorporating fun routines, partner work, and finishers that leave everyone feeling accomplished.
MUSIC & MOTIVATION
My playlists include a mix of pop, hip hop, and 2000s R&B for high energy and fun. I remind students that pushing themselves doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy the process. I show up with a smile to create a positive space where members feel encouraged to give their best.
LIFE BEYOND THE STUDIO
Over my four years at Switch, I’ve witnessed inspiring success stories—like members achieving their first full sit-up or push-up, losing 20 lbs, or simply gaining confidence. I love connecting with members and being part of their journeys. Outside of the studio, I prioritize recovery by hydrating, foam rolling, taking other instructors’ classes, and getting massages.
